THE UNSUNG HEROES & THE FOOTPRINTS

To be an organisation is one thing, to be an establishment is another.  The success of organisation as a civic and clean establishment depends largely on unsung heroes.  One such hero- Laxminiya is pictured here. I am thankful to her and many others who make– our establishment, our sites— a place to cherish.  Watching Laxminiya mop meticulously, I became curious. And interested in hearing  whether coal or mining has any effect on her?  To have her say, I talked a lot. Asked her many questions.  All the interest was one-sided. I knew she didn’t like me. So much so that she started giving ‘Are you lunatic’  looks.  Thank God! She didn’t suggest any jhaad-fook (exorcism).  I kept asking questions. She kept replying halfheartedly. And  after  my  nth try-   She said something which branched out into magical implication.

Though uninterested in coal or miner, Laxminiya yet was aware. Aware that certain people  leave larger, stronger & darker footprints. She connoted- Field People.   Field people- the backbone of our organisation.
