Lasting Impact- NCL moments

NCL moments

4th June 2019
Jhingurda OCP, NCL
New Wharfwall inauguration

GM Jhingurda Shri Chitranajan Singh was delivering thanksgiving speech on the occasion. He talked at length about strong backing from top leadership for the construction of wharf-wall.

Midway his speech, Shri Singh shared something which quintessentially became one profound NCL moment.  He shared what CMD NCL Shri P.K.Sinha had said to him—

” Do  something  NCL  remembers you  for!    The  happiness  of  building  a  new  is  far  more  satisfying  than  maintaining  the status  quo.”

How the inspiration from CMD NCL shaped mega processes back in fields was there for everyone to see–  THE NEW WHARFWALL.

Cost effective, location-intensive, state of the art wharf wall  at strategic location with underlying potential to add enormous capacities in years to come.

And while GM Jhingurda shared his share of impact, it certainly dawned upon all the audience alike- When did someone make lasting impact on your life?

Well, for me the occasion was a product launch when one of my mentor said something similar. He said- Keep creating new things. When you build new things, you ooze out happiness and get ahead of status quo.

Ask anyone from Mazagon Dock and the answer will be same. Hall of fame leaves lasting impact on us. No matter how many times we see it, seeing our submarines in action fills us with pride.

On surface this time:-) Thanks to you. No words to express my thankfulness. Message resonated far and wide without us spending a penny. Looking forward to host you offshore sometime soon.
