Northern Coalfields Limited celebrated Coal India’s 45th Foundation Day at company’s Headquarters premises on Friday. Floral tributes were paid to coal martyrs at ‘Shaheed Smarak’ and CIL flag was unfurled followed by singing of Corporate song in unison. Director (Technical/Operations) NCL Shri Gunadhar Pandey, Director (Finance/Personnel)NCL Shri Nag Nath Thakur, General Managers/HOD’s, Departmental Heads of HQ alongwith large number of employees were present on this occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Pandey said that with all round support from all the stakeholders, NCL has been a major contributor to overall coal production of Coal India. He said that the company is crossing past one after the other milestone and this year too the company will excel on all performance parameters.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Thakur encouraged Team NCL and said that it is participation from one and all which helps NCL gain its position as one of the leading coal producer.
At CMD Conference Hall of NCL HQ, D(T/O) NCL Shri Gunadhar Pandey, D(F/P) NCL Shri Nag Nath Thakur alongwith General Managers/HOD’s and other officials watched live webcast of Coal India Foundations Day celebrations straight from CIL Corporate Office Kolkata.
CIL Foundation Day was also celebrated across the coal areas and units of NCL paying floral tributes to coal martyrs and unfurling the CIL flag. Foundation day celebrations from corporate office Kolkata was streamed live across the company and its coal areas and units.
