This post is about a girl. A girl called Parul Yadav. I feel a strange positive vibe whenever I come across works being done by this super girl. She is working as Assistant Manager (Community Development) and is presently posted at Block B Area of NCL.
The way she sends her press note is a clear differentiator. She always writes in stark clarity about various dimensions of events happening at Block-B. Plus, there is an added element of ‘extra mile’ she goes in all the programmes she organises/understakes.
Take, for example, a recent Digital Mela and Financial Inclusion Camp organised by Parul and her team. Every Digital Mela does include bank account opening of participants. But amongst others, the camp in Block-B particularly targeted Aanganwadi registrants. (Official version of the story written by official-me is here)
When it comes to Integrated Child Development Services, Aanganwaadi is a first point of contact between state machinery and villagers. In this light, looping in Aanganwadi registrants first and foremost is indeed a brilliant move. Hopefully this will become a game changer in days to come. More power to this super girl!
Who is she? I think you never wrote about her.
Yes, this is the first time. I might write more about her soon.
