Heavy Earth Moving Machineries (HEMM) are backbone of opencast coal mining operations. Apart from the four pictured in this frame, Dozer and Surface Miner are the other two vital heavy earthmovers forming part of HEMM fleet of NCL.
NCL has large fleet of HEMM’s deployed in its 10 opencast coal producing areas. The company has 22 draglines, 110 shovel, 539 dumpers, 181 dozers, 134 drill and 4 surface miners.
